There are numerous ways to achieve a magnificent life. Some of us seem to inherit a great life. Some of us have an aggressive nature and, through tremendous effort, can fashion a good life. Some of us experience natural skill or talent that seems to flow easily. But most of us have been so distracted and preoccupied, struggling to make a living, to make ends meet, that we have lost our connection with our innate power to create a magnificent life. Let us reconnect with that power right now!

Now that we have liberated our natural genius to begin creating our magnificent life, let us examine another significant element of life that affects us all. And that is the condition of our physical health. For do we not unanimously agree that a magnificent life would include physical youth and vitality? Although this is a sensitive and often confusing area for most of us there are practical, self-reliant steps we can take to improve our physical well being? Please read on to discover a method of self-health care that is both convenient and inexpensive!
The issue of caring for our temples, the temples that allow us to live and move and have our being in this earthly realm, seems difficult to address in this world of numerous interests, responsibilities and distractions. How important is it really? What exactly does our body require to support and maintain youth and vitality?
It is Alive!
The human body is alive and its systems utilize natural life promoting substances. Of significant importance is the life sustaining substances that we obtain from food. When such elements are withheld the result is a reduction in the vital life force. Living cells of the body gradually wither and die. The only truly effective way to provide or support these natural elements is through appropriate diet. Food that is natural to the human body would therefore supply or support the life sustaining elements.
What is natural food?
The natural human diet for promoting health and vitality, according to the anatomical consciousness of the physical body (the body does have a mind of its own) and according to scientific research consists of a wide variety of foods including but not limited to: fruits and vegetables, preferably organic, (some that are cooked and some that are fresh and alive), grains, nuts and seeds (which are soaked or sprouted in order to obtain the necessary live elements, especially enzymes, to support our live bodies), and the flesh of various animals (usually cooked and preferably organic). It is important to note that a harmony of these different food groups is what promotes general well being and good health.
The percentages of each group are of significant interest toward a greater understanding of what the body requires to maintain youth and vitality. To a large extent, many people, in this fast paced society, depend on a diet that is ruled by convenience. This is, in most cases, not a healthy approach to proper care and maintenance of the human body. Over time the body will become depleted of vital elements. What appears to be lacking in this convenient diet is the live food group.
Enzymes!!!
Now let us look at the importance of enzymes and their function in the human body. Two of the most vital elements operating throughout the human body that can be measured are enzymes and enzyme activity. Every system of the physical vessel we call the human body operates successfully because of enzymes! Enzymes promote youth and vitality in the flesh by efficiently assimilating nutrients from the food we eat. When the body has an abundance of enzymes it can protect itself and repair the damage from almost all degenerative disease disorders. When one system of the body is deficient in enzyme activity, it creates a burden on the enzyme activity of other systems of the body. When enzyme activity declines the body begins to degenerate.

When we consume foods that have been cooked or have been extensively processed these necessary enzymes are destroyed and our bodies must expend huge amounts of energy attempting to produce enough digestive enzymes. The resultant effects are digestive disorders, fatigue, degenerative diseases and premature aging. The natural way to maintain the healthy state of all the systems is to eat high enzyme foods.
Foods that are naturally high in enzymes would be raw, organic and as fresh as possible! Many raw foods that have taken more than a day to get from plant to plate have begun to lose vital life force. Furthermore, the nutritional value of the food is dependent on the conditions under which the food is grown such as soil conditions, purity of the water, purity of the air, harvesting and processing and packaging methods and even the attitude or intentions transmitted by the grower/harvester. Would you not feel respectively better about eating food that was produced by someone that loved and appreciated what he or she is doing?
Are we wide-awake?
Let us examine some common routines of our efforts to feed our bodies. Most of us are familiar with buying food products from the grocery store. We often spend time making a list and clipping coupons. Then we drive to the store and spend an hour or two shopping. We fill our cart with canned goods, bottled goods, boxed goods, and bagged goods that have been transported from many hundreds to many thousands of miles away. We choose from an enormous variety of products that are believed to be sources of food and sustenance suitable for human consumption. Then we stand in line at the checkout. At the checkout we remove all products from the cart. We consistently pay higher and higher prices for the same products. We place our sacked items back in the cart and drive them back to our home where we spend more time stocking shelves.
Now that we have restocked our favorite food items we take time planning and preparing what we believe is food fit for human consumption. We often use many utensils, containers, dishes, gas and/or electric appliances and cookware further processing the food to make it presentable and eatable. At this point, if we are fairly efficient we may spend time cleaning up the mess made from preparing and cooking. Now we can finally sit down to eat our food. If we address this activity with respectful awareness we would appreciate the color, quality, variety, nutritional value and of course the flavor of the meal.
During this process of feeding our precious earthbound temples, what about the significance of being relaxed and thoroughly masticating our food? (How many of us actually treat ourselves with such reverence?) Now that we seem to have satisfied our need to feed our body or at least our mouths and stomachs we can spend another thirty minutes to an hour cleaning up after the meal and putting away the leftovers to reheat the next day. On and on the cycle repeats itself. If we avoid much of this scenario by eating out what do we really know about the food? For those of us who live to eat and are not interested in taking responsibility for our health then blessed be and enjoy it while it lasts. Destroying our health with food is not conducive of a magnificent life.
Most of us have not taken the time to properly research the ideal natural diet for humans. So we place our trust in others to determine what food is. Every time we purchase food products from the grocery store or restaurant, we trust the decisions of the Department of Agriculture and the Food and Drug Administration. Do we believe and do we have proof that these organizations have our best natural health interests at heart? Do they understand the crucial importance of enzymes in the health of the human body? We can not hold them responsible for the state of our health because they merely present an opinion as to what can be chewed and swallowed. We are the ones doing the chewing and swallowing.
